I'm in love with fashion but often find myself annoyed with the lack of information for the general South African consumer. We're more than just copies of the Northern Hemisphere's previous season because we're awesome, we're South African. Sugar Solid Tush is dedicated to informing its readers about the latest trends in colour, silhouettes and fashion as well as where to find them (here!). Because I can't help myself, expect a few indulgent international designer reviews but getting the look doesn't have to involve a R10 000 budget. My four years as a student will serve your resources well.
I studied Consumer Sciences in Clothing Retail Management (or "Fashion" for short) in Pretoria, Gauteng for four years, did a few styling courses and am currently busy studying Mandarin in Cape Town. It's my first year in Cape Town and I'm loving it. Most of my time is taken up by freelance fashion styling, personal styling, socialising and twitter (yeah, they're different).
Read, enjoy and remember to let me know what you think.
Jordan (Sugar)

ReplyDeleteSouth Africa doesn't really need fashion to be beautiful.
ReplyDeleteIt already has you. ;)
